He does not have a specific range of classes that visit his shop but most of the customers are middle class and usually go to his shop to buy wood carvings of the cross. His wood carvings are very cheap and makes a very small amount of money off them. I think that upper class people or nobles are not coming to his cheap shop because the crosses are rough compared to the professional carvings.

Diary Entry 1:
It has been my second day without any food. I was starving and felt weak. I needed money to buy bread. I was sitting outside my shop getting some fresh air. I hear the sound of a horse shoe tapping the ground getting closer and closer. A man with rich clothes was riding a majestic horse down the road. As he gallops down the road a few coins spill out of the pack on his horse. He stutter and think wether to keep it or to tell the man. For some reason my mouth chooses to yell at the man to come back. The man pulls the saddle and the horse stops. He turns around with a suspicious look and slowly comes towards me. I tell him that he dropped some coins. He looks at me as if I was crazy. I guess I was the first person to tell him he dropped money. He gets off his horse and smiles as he says "Keep the coins." I was so happy. He then asks me if this shop was mine and I said yes. He says he will take a look and enters my shop. While he looked around I asked him what his name was. He replies with Édouard André. As we get to know each other we both mention that we were here to gather for the national assembly. I invited him to stay at my shop so we can go to the national assembly. The next morning troops were all over the street. We had no choice but to protect ourselves with guns. We met with more people from the National Assembly. I thought that Louis was horrible for trying to shut us down.
Diary Entry 2:
One morning I was waken up by shouts and the sound of running horses. It almost sounded like an earthquake. My curiosity and anxiousness forced me to walk outside and see what all the commotion was all about. There was a big royal carriage that was being surrounded by people that were shouting and screaming. The next thing I realize is that im on the ground covered in dirt. I was knocked over by a speeding horse. I was regaining my conscious as the man on the horse came down from his horse to ask if I was alright. I said that I was fine. His facial expression was as if he had just killed a man. To calm him down I asked if he knew what the carriage was all about. He put out his hand and said lets go find out. He pulled me up to his horse and me trotted to catch up to the carriage. While we were riding the horse we started to ask each other about ourselves. He said his name is Raoul Arpin. As we got closer we started to make out what the people were shouting about. I assumed that the king was trying to escape and guessed that they were heading to the east. They were all shouting "LOUIS!". We were both confused and startled at the same time. We caught up to the carriage and our king Louis was inside trying to hide is identity by wearing clothes that usually servants would wear. Raoul Arpin looked quite shocked about how much I knew. Raoul kept on pounding me with questions. I said that there was a threat made on the life of Marie Antoinette, and this was why they were fleeing. I heard that from a man that was walking in the small hidden road that nobody uses.
Diary Entry 3:
I wake up by the sound of birds singing their morning song as usual. I look at the marks on my wall that add up to the month and the date. It is November 22nd, 1800. Louis was decapitated in the year 1793. I was getting ready to open my shop and start the day. I opened the small little window on the back of my store to let some fresh air in. There was only chaos outside because France was out of control. But my ears caught attention to two men talking about King Louis. I had nothing better to do so I continuously listened to their whole conversation. I was shocked when I heard that Louis had been executed. As I my unusual day goes on, two customers that seemed quite wealthy walked into my store looking for wood crosses. While they were choosing the cross of their cravings I overheard them talking about a new banking system that Napoleon had made and also overheard about the plebiscite. At that time I had to go to the palace. I quickly sold a few crosses and closed my shop very early so I can ride a long ride to the palace with my horse. I finally arrive at the bank near the palace. There were quite a lot of people. I was looking around when a beautiful girl caught the attention of my eyes. She looked wealthy and had the most beautiful clothes I had seen in awhile. She glared at me as if she was looking at trash. I ask her what her name is. She responds “Adeline Barousse” with disgust. Knowing that she did not want to talk to me I went on looking around. As I was about to leave the bank I see her walking down the stairs. I was not that far away from her. She tripped on a person and with thinking I ran and caught. People that saw started clapping. She thanked me but this time she actually looked at me with thankfulness. As she recovers from her fall she asks me why I was here at the palace. I said that I was curious about all the new stuff that was all so sudden. I responded with manner and was very gentle. She starts smiling and she seems to like my personality a little. We have a little conversation and she says to come see her some time.
